Jeronimo’s Weblog

Chasing rainbows…

About

With a lift of his chin, and a bit of a grin, without any doubting or quiddit, he started to sing and he tackled the thing, that couldn't be done, and he did it

This is a Jeronimo Weblog first - I am not posting this message from my computer, but in fact my brother’s in Norwich. It’s techinology gone mad!! :P

Much to Adam’s disgust, I haven’t been updating my blog as much as I should, or even want to. There are a number of reasons for this, and they are all that I am too lazy. :)

I cannot remember half the stuff that has happened since last time I posted, but I will try to recap on as much as possible.

Last Sunday, I got to open the store for the first time on my own. As it was a Sunday it was relatively quiet, which was good, and it meant that I managed to get everything done in time. In future I have openings to do on much busier days which also means getting to work by 9am. Madness I say!

On Tuesday night I was called and asked if I could work in Blockbuster in Ripley because one of their staff members was ill. I have never driven as far as Ripley before in my car, so I was a bit hesitant but agreed anyway. It was actually fairly easy to get to, but the traffic was murder at that time and it took me nearly an hour to get there. The actual working part of it was quite good, and I’ll admit I did enjoy working in another store. 2 guys and a girl (good title for a TV sitcom) came in and were most pleased with my level of service. That was quite funny actually. I even got a plate of chips at the end of the day for my efforts. Lovely :)

I got a couple of days off during which I did absolutely nothing. Mavellous.

On Friday night we had fancy dress at work to raise money for the excellent Starlight Foundation for Children. We must have raised over £10.40 at least, because that’s how much I stole from the small children that came in. I wasn’t allowed to wear my Scream mask, as it was too scary with all its blood gushing etc. :)

I had originally planned to drive to Norwich on Friday night. I was just too tired after work, and also I was advised it was probably better to drive in the day rather than at night. Sound advice I think.

I got up the next morning at 7.15 which is worryingly early for me. I got everything ready and even got my dad to check my car tyres for me. I eventually managed to set off at 9 to get some diesel. I then set out on my trek across the country. Sadly the road to take me along the M1 south was closed so I had to take the diversion north, then turn around at the next junction. This was the most exciting part of the drive. I spent most of it bored. I eventually drove the whole way non-stop, just like a non-stop trip from New York to Denver. It took me about 4 hours all in, which is goot considering I bought petrol and even took a diversion.

Last night a big group of us all convened at my brother’s to watchh some films I stole from work. By stole I mean rented and by work I mean I’ll have sex with you…

The house was excellently decorated in the Halloween stylee and so we had an excellent setting for eating lots of food and watching some great scary movies. Well the food was great, but sadly the films were less so. We watched Gothika, Dawn of the Dead and finally Shaun of the Dead. Of the three, Dawn of the Dead was the best and actually quite enjoyable. You have all seen my review of Shaun of the Dead before no doubt. I stand by my decision and many others did too. It was shizen.

Overall though it was a great evening. It was nice to see people again as always. Just a shame the movies weren’t up to scratch. I’ll be complaining to those people at Blockbuster when I get back!!

Today I did not a lot. Mainly sleeping, partially eating. I did watch Eastenders which was deliciously depressing yet entertaining. :)

Tomorrow I am off to Milton Keynes to visit the zoo. I also plan to visit Neil as well which I am looking forward to. Even more so, I am looking forward to meeting Kris who promises to be charming and wonderful. Also I hope to meet all of her attractive friends. And maybe I’ll even get a chance to have one of my sexy parties.

Something of a secret I will let you both in on. I have managed to arrange a date. There’s someone I have always wanted to go out on a date with and for some reason never asked out before. Before you ask, yes it is a woman, yes she is gorgeous, and yes she is very clever. I am really looking forward to it and she is a wonderful girl. I just hope she is looking forward to it as much as me

Anyway, enough talk. I just hope I have managed to satisfy Adam as much he satisfies me!

Night all!!

  1. It took you 4 hours to get to Norwich?! That’s crazy! How many miles is it? It takes me about hour and half to travel 100-110 miles Derby-Bedford….yes, that means I drive about 90-100mph

Anyway, a date?! On the one hand I’m happy for you, but Nina’s put so much effort into talking you up to her sister! She’s even booked a trip down in a couple of weeks to see you! :)

Look forward to seeing you back at work! Hope you didn’t rent those films from our BBV, otherwise you’ll have a hefty late fee :)

Rock on! I was in MK the other day. No Xmas decorations up yet.

    RULE!

  2. Heh heh, I’m still single ladies. I purposely wrote that post suggestively in the hope that it would make you all talk to me. And it’s worked! I’ve never been so popular! :P

You guys and your jumping to conclusions! A man can be just friends with a woman right? ;)
