Challenge accepted…
I do have some exciting news to post! I have set myself a rather interesting challenge. I've decided to expand my horizons and watch and then review the top 100 films in the Internet Movie Database. And as all good challenges need a deadline, I have decided to attempt to complete this task by the 30th June 2005. While this seems like a long time to go, it actually means I have to watch about 3 films a week to achieve my goal.
I've set myself some rules too.
- As the top 100 list is subject to change, I have taken the list as of the 10th November 2004. Any future changes in the list will therefore be ignored and I'll stick to my master list.
- The films can be watched in any order. This essentially means I will watch films as I obtain them. For those films that have multiple parts, I may watch and review them together.
- No matter how many times I have seen a film, I have to watch it again to review it.
- All rules subject to change
I've set up a new category called IMDB Top 100 to help distinguish the reviews from the rest of the site.
Wish me luck!!
Note: Some of these film titles will be obscure as they are the original film names. We might know them as something different. Remember that if I refer to a title not in the list!
I shall strikeout the films as I watch them so I can keep track of where I am!

This is a very interesting idea. How you’re going to get half of these films is beyond me, but jolly good luck anyway, old bean!
P.S. How’s about linking some of these here reviews on the DVDs and Stuff forum?!
Good luck me ol’ buddy. I’m sure Y2Neil.com’s review section will come in handy and may chart your progress.
Good luck with some of those foregin ones too!!
I have a high noon I think, so Ill lend it to you in order to aid your quest to become a more rounded person.
You failed, didn’t you?
In a word, yes.
However I still plan to watch them all in time. Just not as rapidly as I had originally intended!
