Chasing rainbows…

About

With a lift of his chin, and a bit of a grin, without any doubting or quiddit, he started to sing and he tackled the thing, that couldn't be done, and he did it

I apologise for my lack of presence in recent times, but as noted in the previous post I have not been well enough to post.

It’s all my own fault anyway. I woke up early to drive home from Norwich which took just under 4 hours, and then went to work for another 6 hours. This totally drained me, and left me rundown and thus susceptible to illness. Stupid boy who doesn’t get enough sleep!! :)

As usual, I’ve not really done much. My windscreen still remains cracked and thus an expensive repair bill looms on the horizon.

I went with Y2Neil to get a new hard disc and spent a couple of days trying to get it installed. For future reference, Drive Image is rubbish! I got a different piece of software, and had the system up and running in a matter of minutes. Marvellous!

That same day I went to town with Ian and my dad to watch England narrowly lose to Australia in the ruggers. It was a great atmosphere, especially when England came back into the game. Loved it!

Later on, I popped into work to return some DVD and acquired some more techincal support work for a future date. Straight from work, I went round to Ian’s to perform more techincal support and try and get his network up and running. Mysteriously his computer made the network adapter vanish. Even more mysteriously was that with a bit of magic, it decided to start working again! I love the fickality of computers (almost as much as I love making up words).

We spent some time chatting as well, and when I got home it was nearly 1 in the morning! Marvellous!

This week I need to get back on track with my blog posting and my film watching. There’s still 97 films out there that won’t watch themselves! So I bid you adieu and remember - every path has its puddle!!

  1. Isn’t it about time you watched some films?! And left some reviews and/or other posts, you work-shy bastard!

  2. Sorry to hear you’ve not been feeling well and I’m sorry I’ve not been very active internet-wise recently - my only excuse is that I suck. Glad you’re feeling better though!

If you’re looking for films to watch and review you absolutely HAVE to see The Incredibles. I laughed myself silly the entire way through. Easily the best new film I’ve seen this year!
