Today has been an uber-busy day, as have been the past few weeks. Today my to-do list consisted of 28 separate items, of which I managed to complete 2, such is the time and complexity required of each one. Tomorrow promises to be no better as I journey to Norwich in preparation to visit a customer on Wednesday.
What this does mean however is I have a fantastic opportunity to visit my brother, his wife and my fabulous nephew whom I adore more on each visit. Also as long as the weather does its best to behave itself, I shall have a fairly pleasant afternoon drive. And with any joy, perhaps a nice curry at the end of it
The bizarre meaning of today’s title refers to a conversation I had with a customer about various bit of technology. I was told that there was a washing machine which has an embedded Linux system built into it, which allows you to control your washing machine over the internet. Those of you checking the date - no its not April… Check out this link for details - http://www.lginternetfamily.co.uk/washingmachine.asp
I know this makes me sad, but you know what - I don’t care!
What was also interesting was that today I was contacted by an old friend I have not seen for a while, and so we have arranged to meet up for a drink and dinner, which I have rather generously offered to pay for. I am sure I’ll be more than repaid however, in witty banter and all round jolly good fun.
The rest of this week promises to be fun filled, and packed to the rafters with work. I have found being busy beyond control is much more enjoyable and rewarding than idly passing the time.
Ok this has been a brief summary of today, and once I get back into the swing of things, I’m sure I’ll be able to provide much more interesting reading! ![]()
I notice LG can’t spell ‘control’…
