After counting down the days, I bought myself a Nintendo DS Lite in sexy black yesterday from Game. Its fan-flipping-tastic. I managed to get a decent deal and got it with Metroid Prime Hunters.

The actual DS looks very nice. Shiny black plastic, very small. Much improved over the original DS.

Metroid Prime wasn’t really my thing when I first started playing it. Controlling a FPS on a handheld always seems like a bad idea. However after 20 minutes, you realise that the DS was made for exactly this game. Its fantastic. It just works. Screw your PSP, DS does the business for those without a keyboard and mouse on the move!

I’ll hopefully make a more detailed review later. Bottom line, the DS Lite in black with Metroid Prime is fantastic in ever way.
